The younger brother of Jyothi Singh Pandey, aka Nirbhaya, the 2012 Delhi gangrape victim is now a pilot and is working with private airlines, their mother Asha Devi has revealed. According to Mail Today, Devi is crediting Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi for making the family's dream come true.?

Devi said Rahul not only sponsored his higher education but also regularly motivated her son who was devastated by the tragedy involving his brother to achieve what he wanted.
"Rahul Gandhi was the one who counselled him and motivated him to achieve something good in life to support the family. After learning that he wanted to join the defence forces, Rahul asked him to pursue a pilot's training course after completion of school," Devi told Mail Today.
After he completed Class XII, Rahul got him admitted in the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi in Rae Bareli where he underwent pilot training.
