These are some questions that would force you to think. And these are the questions that also give us a ray of hope in a world which only seems to be moving toward darkness.

Recounting her childhood years in Mumbai¡¯s Kamathipura, she talks about pertinent issues which many of us conveniently brush under the carpet. For example ¡ª She raises the importance of being taught how to differentiate between a good touch and a bad touch.
¡°I was always by myself and at the age of 10, one of my professors at my school took advantage of the situation and raped me. Our education system is such that we¡¯re not even taught about what a good touch or a bad touch is, so how was I to know,¡± she asks.
Being discriminated for her background (daughter of a sex worker), her complexion, and the place where she came from, (a red-light area) did not bog her down.
Instead, she grew up to rise above all these limitations and today she uses theatrics to raise awareness about these issues and give something meaningful to Kamathipura, which is still her home.
¡°Funny isn¡¯t it? I was never discriminated against in Kamathipura, but I was outside. I was never sexually abused here, but I was at a school in Bombay. That¡¯s why I¡¯m still here,¡± she says.
