This one¡¯s a story of love, but for the colour blue. The whole life of this techie couple revolves around the colour. Their house, their dresses and vehicles are blue. The reason for this fascination, says this techie who earns in lakhs, is a swami whom he claims to have recently come into contact with.

After his ¡®Guruji¡¯ ordered that he live the blue life, this techie even forced his wife to live by the same rules. However, the wife has sought separation from her husband, to which he has denied as she is believed to be his ¡®lucky charm¡¯. When the wife did her own investigation into who this ¡®Guruji¡¯ was, she was shocked to hear that this esteemed personage visited her husband in his dreams and instructed him duly.
According to the complaint lodged by the techie¡¯s wife, it was a happy family till a few months ago. The couple was earning Rs 5 lakh a month, had their own flat, and a daughter. Nithin Vishal Singh, 36, and Naveena, 30, married five years ago. They stay in HSR Layout and work in different software firms. The well-settled couple had a good time for some years after getting married: they travelled for long holidays, and lived the good life, but everything changed all of a sudden when Singh told his wife that he had turned towards spirituality and would be living like this henceforth. ¡°It is a typical case we are dealing with.

The couple has everything life has to offer, but everything came crashing down after this revelation. Singh completely changed his lifestyle, left non-vegetarian food, stopped going out, and asked his wife to follow him, like the better half of a renunciate householder. For Naveena, though, everything has turned topsy-turvy. She says all his clothes were donated to an ashram, and he made her reduce her wardrobe too, by incorporating only blue clothes. Singh said he will ensure his whole house is made blue, including the interiors,¡± BS Saraswathi,
Senior Counsellor at Vanitha Sahayavani at City Police Commissioner¡¯s office told Bangalore Mirror.
According to police, once Singh turned to spirituality, he did not stop going to office. On the contrary, he started wearing all blue clothes. His new routine comprised waking up at 2 am, and after taking a cold water bath, asked his wife to sit along with him in meditation. He says this transformation had cooled down his entire personality, in consonance with the soothing effect of the colour blue.

He stopped fighting ever since he took to spirituality. But his wife is not impressed,¡± Saraswathi said.
Unable to stomach this povertarian lifestyle, Naveena complained to the HSR Police, who sent the case to the police commissioner¡¯s office, which was then taken up by Vanitha Sahayavani.
¡°Singh has admitted that his life has changed. But Naveena wants a divorce. However, he is against divorcing her, the reason being that his Guruji says she will be his pillar of strength in the years to come.¡±
Police are now in a fix, and say if Singh does not compromise, the case will have to be sent to court.
