In a shocking case, an undertrial man was shot dead inside a court in Uttar Pradesh's Bijnor. The incident happened on Tuesday at the Chief Judicial Magistrate court in Bijnor.?
According to initial reports, the firing took place while the court was hearing the murder case of BSP leader Haji Ehsan and his nephew when there was indiscriminate firing inside the courtroom.?
The main accused in the murder of Ehsan, Shahnawaz was shot dead, while two others, a co-accused and a police constable, identified as Manish Kumar, were injured in the firing.?
Shahnawaz reportedly received 10 bullets on his body and was killed on the spot. The firing was so intense that the CJM reportedly had a narrow escape from the shower of bullets.?
According to SP Bijnor Sanjiv Tyagi, following the firing, the court premises have been cordoned off and three attackers have been arrested.?
BSP leader Haji Ehsan, who was the party's in-charge of Najibabad unit and his nephew Shadab were shot dead on May 28 inside in his office by two men from close range.?
According to the police, the murder was not political and was linked to his property business.?
