Bhaker who was shooting from firing point G shot 28 in the eight-women final to miss out on completing a hat-trick of medals in a single edition of the Games.?
Bhaker had stormed into the 25m sports pistol competition after finishing second in the qualifications with an impressive score of 590 on Friday, giving hopes of a hat-trick.
The 22-year-old had already won bronze medals in the Women's 10m Air Pistol event and the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team event so far. She is also the first and only Indian to win more than one medal in the same edition of the Olympics.??
Bhaker?opened India's medal tally after she secured third place in the women's individual 10M Air pistol event. This was followed by another bronze medal in the 10m air pistol (mixed team) event at the Paris Olympics 2024.?
Sarabjot Singh and?Manu?Bhaker?won the bronze in the 10 M Air Pistol Mixed team even beating South Korea's Lee Wonho and Oh Ye Jin 16-10.?

On Thursday,?shooter Swapnil Kusale won the bronze medal in the men's 50m rifle 3P event. Kusale also became the first Indian shooter to win a medal in the men's 50m rifle 3P event.
