An Austrian man set a new world record, by beating the one he held before, for the longest period of complete body contact with ice cubes. according to an AP report.??
Josef Koeberl stayed for 2 hours, 30 minutes and 57 seconds inside a glass box which was full till his shoulders with ice cubes. More than 200 kilos of ice cubes were required. Then Koeberl got in only wearing swim trunks.?
He reveals he only thought of positive things to fight the ¡°wave of pain¡± that took place due to the freezing conditions.?
¡°I¡¯m fighting the pain by visualizing and drawing on positive emotions so I can dampen this wave of pain,¡± Koeberl said while speaking to reporters.?
¡°That way I can endure,¡± he added.?
A small crowd was witness as he surpassed his 2019 record by half an hour.?
When he was finally taken out, he said it felt great to have the sun on his back again.?But he's far from done. Koeberl plans to beat this record as well, in 2021 in Los Angeles.? ?
