The?Environment and Communications Reference Committee is on to the realisation and mapping of the region, trying to gauge the effects of climate change on?marine fisheries and biodiversity.?
The researchers claim that about just 25 years ago, the region was thriving, and within such less time, the heatwaves have been able to cast such an adverse effect.?

About 90% of forests off the western coast were wiped out between 2011 and 2013, posing a threat to biodiversity and the marine economy, say, scientists. They further claim that within the next 5 to 10 years, it will vanish from the region.?
The forest in the region has suffered from relatively warm heat-waves, nutrient-poor current amidst the unavailability of rejuvenating hit from waters.?
"Sometimes we try to upgrade something to critical, I can name a species that's in the category at the moment, but there's not much point if really there's no management response that we can address." Scientist said.?
