Starting in 2024, ServiceOntario is partnering with Staples Canada to open new centres in select Staples locations, with more locations expected to open throughout the year across Ontario.
The collaboration aims to provide residents with convenient access to essential services like driver's licenses and health cards in places where they already live, work, and shop.
"We are working to make it easier to live and work in Ontario, with in-person access as a fundamental component of excellent service delivery. That is why we are partnering with Staples Canada, an experienced retailer with a strong presence in Ontario," said Todd McCarthy, Minister of Public and Business Service Delivery.

ServiceOntario is also introducing new initiatives to enhance service delivery, such as live virtual appointments for health card renewals, allowing eligible residents to receive the same level of service from the comfort of their homes.
Eight of the busiest ServiceOntario centres in the Greater Toronto Area will also offer health card services for work permit holders and their accompanying families to address increasing demand:
