In a surprising act, a man in the UK flew to Italy and bought a pizza at a lower cost than it would take him for a Domino's order at his native place.?
The man, Callum Ryan, noticed that the delivery fee on a Domino's Pizza order to his place was too high.
Upon this, he challenged himself to physically check in at a pizza outlet in Italy to enjoy the dish.?
In his Instagram reel, Ryan talked about his venture of enjoying a pizza at a much lesser cost despite taking the flight charges into account.?
In the video, he displayed his laptop screen to suggest that the desired Domino's Pizza price was ?19.99.?
However, the video concludes with him enjoying a tour and the food item is just ?17.72.?
Ryan booked a last-minute flight that cost him just ?8.
Later, he can be heard saying in the video, "the pizza on its own was €8.50 and the table service was €2.50, which means €11. When converted, that's ?9.72 - which means we did it!"
Ryan paid just ?17.72 (Rs 1588.41) for everything he did, the flight and the pizza, which would have otherwise cost him ?19.99 (RS 1791.89).?
The video eventually grabbed internet engagement and people reacted to it with interesting comments.?
"I want more of this!!!" a user wrote."This is the stupid I really want to do," another comment read.?
In another comment, a third person stated, "Dear friend, I advise you to repeat your experiment. But come to Naples, which is the homeland of pizza. You've never eaten anything tastier... and believe me, you'll pay much less."? ? ??
