Japan is known for making cool robots. But now it has gone a step further to protect locals using technology.?
As per a report in News18, a video from the New York Post shows how the monster wolf is acting as a modern-day scarecrow. So what is it exactly? It is a robot that is propped on a platform in a field in the small Japanese city of Takikawa.?
The robot is designed by Ohta Seiki. It shakes its head and growls to scare animal intruders and protect crops from bears and deers.?
It is 3-foot by 4-foot-long and a total of 62 are installed all over the country.?
Since the monster wolf has been installed in mid-September, the bears have not shown up in Takikawa meaning it is proving to be effective.?
A good move indeed. ??
