The businessman father of an Israeli-American woman who was murdered alongside her boyfriend by Hamas terrorists was shattered but relieved on finding his daughter. But, how?
The daughter of American millionaire Eyal Waldman was among the hundreds of civilians Hamas killed after the terror group launched a deadly attack on a music festival in the south of the country on October 7.
He?tracked her phone and Apple Watch to find the bullet-riddled car where his daughter met her end while trying to flee to safety.
Danielle Waldman (24) was attending the Nova music festival in southern Israel with her partner Noam when the terrorists launched a devastating terror attack on the event. Hamas killed hundreds of festival-goers, injured them and abducted several attendees.
At first, he thought that the operatives had kidnapped the 24-year-old. However, on October 11, a few hours before the interview with CNN, he found out that Danielle and her boyfriend, Noam Shai, were two of the many people the terrorists brutally murdered.
Eyal Waldman used the tracking feature on Danielle's phone and Apple watch to find the location where her daughter was killed."Three hours after I landed in Israel, I went down south and was able to find the car that they were in," Waldman told i24NEWS on Thursday.
"We found the car and some belongings in it. We knew this was the car Danielle was in because of an emergency call we had received from her cellphone that has a feature of a crash call," he said.
Eyal said that it looked like her daughter's car was surrounded and attacked by Hamas.?"I have seen exactly how she was murdered from two directions by at least three to five people that had attacked the car," he said.
He said when he spoke to Danielle for the last time, she told him she and her partner, Noam, planned to get married soon. "But, now they will be buried together," Eyal said.
