Is it possible to lead a life now like those who lived in the 1940s? If this sounds absurd and unreasonable to you, then you should meet Greg Kirby and his wife Liberty Avery. If you, by some chance, ran into the couple in Norfolk, in the United Kingdom, there is a chance that you may mistake them for time travelers from the past.
That is because the couple, aged 29 and 24, are living like they are still in the 1940s. No it is not just posting photos on Instagram with some vintage filters.?They have been dressing up and even living a 1940s-themed life, including furniture and vehicles from those days.

According to the BBC, the couple wears their vintage attire daily, from ornate suits and ties to corset-pinched waistlines and bustling full skirts.?
"We find the clothes from that?time period?both comfortable and flattering. It means you're not just buying clothes for the season and throwing them away. We like to try and repair clothes, give them a new life and it looks just as good as 80 years ago," Kirby told the BBC.
Kirby said his father's fondness for vintage items was his inspiration for his unusual choice.
"My dad, Nicholas, was a bit of an inspiration for me as well, really. He's an ex-Royal Ballet dancer and knows all of the period dances from the 40s, such as rock 'n' roll and the jitterbug. We used to go to lots of 1940s-themed dances together, and we'd dress the part every time we went. I guess I never really grew out of loving the period and?the way in which?they dressed," he said.

Avery also credited her father, who used to take her around antique stores, for her love of the vintage lifestyle.
Staying true to their shared love, they also had a 1940s-themed wedding.?
"We tried to make our wedding as 40s as possible; traditional, as perhaps our grandparents would've done it. They wouldn't have necessarily spent a huge amount, so we didn't either," Kirby said.
