Shaw's innings was laced with two sixes and 7 fluent boundaries while Tare hit 12 fours and a maximum to get the innings going for the hosts. Siddhesh Lad's 14-ball 32 late cameo took Mumbai's score past the 200-run mark.
Shaw's innings was particularly important as the BCCI selectors will be closely monitoring his moves in domestic cricket, now that his suspension for failing a dope test earlier this year ended on November 15.
