WWE superstar Bronson Reed has shared an update on the injury he suffered during the WarGames match at Survivor Series 2024. Reed, who underwent surgery, posted a photo of himself after going under the knife on Wednesday.
※On the road to f*ck shit up,§ Reed captioned his post-surgery photo, without giving a clear timeline for his return to the ring.
WWE has also not provided any update on when the 36-year-old Australian could be back in action.
Reed, who was a member of the New Bloodline, suffered a broken foot during the WarGames match when he attempted a Tsunami splash from the top of the cage on Roman Reigns. Thanks to CM Punk, Reigns was saved, but Reed landed on his feet while crashing through the table.
According to WWE, Reed will be out indefinitely, and there are speculations that the big guy won't recover in time for WrestleMania 41 in April 2025.
※He*s going to be out for months# not expected to be back for WrestleMania,§ Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer said.
Some reports say that Reed is targeting a May每June return to WWE.
Following Reed's injury, WWE Creative has also been forced to make changes, including bringing forward Drew McIntyre's RAW return by a few weeks.
Reed was also scheduled to take on Seth Rollins at Madison Square Garden for WWE*s Holiday Live tour stop on December 26, but he has now been replaced by Dominik Mysterio for the event.
Reed, who made his first appearance for WWE in 2019 through NXT also had short-stints with NWJP and TNA before getting a RAW call-up in December 2022.
