Virat Kohli had the reputation of a hot temper when he first came on to the scene, but over time he has matured into a calmer individual.

Now as skipper, in all three formats, Kohli is quick to use his wit when the situation demands it.
A good example is what happened during the post-match presentation after India clinched the T20I series 2-1 against England in Bengaluru.
A journalist asked Kohli if he was struggling as an opener. The 28-year-old's reply was epic.

¡°I am more happy about that (series) and not worried about my opening slot. If I had made 70 runs in two matches, would you have asked me this question? No, right? So just enjoy the series. It is a nice win for us,¡± the skipper said with a smile.
Kohli made just 52 runs in 3 innings but clearly as he states it, it is not something to worry about.
The witty reply certainly put the journalist in his place. There was no rudeness, no anger, just a casual tone and it was brilliant the way he handled it.
Kohli also mentioned how he scored four hundreds as an opener in IPL 2016 for Royal Challengers Bangalore, and there were no questions about his opening abilities then, but a failure in this series suddenly raised doubts.
He added that there are 10 other players in the team and the focus should be on them as well, before saying, ¡°If I do everything so what will the others do.¡±
Good on you Kohli, cricket is a team game and you can't be expected to carry India every time.?
It's just that the man has raised the bar for himself so high that one forgets that he too is human after all.
