Virat Kohli's Indian cricket team completed a 4-0 demolition job of England at Chepauk, Chennai with an innings and 75-run win. Before the start of the series, expectations were high as England had beaten India in the previous three Test series - two in England and one in India.

However, Kohli and Co showed great resolve to turn the tables against Alastair Cook's men and give them a thrashing. With the win in Chennai, India extended their unbeaten run to 18 matches, equalling Sunil Gavaskar's run as Indian skipper from 1985-87.
For his 655 runs at an average over 100, Kohli was named man of the series.
Kohli now has 14 Test wins overall in 22 matches as captain, joint-third most by an Indian captain along with Mohammad Azharuddin. Only Sourav Ganguly with 21 wins and MS Dhoni with 27 Test wins are more successful that Kohli. The current Indian skipper though has the highest success rate of 63 per cent.
