Apple is attempting to patent the future. A new patent filed by Apple was published by the US Patent & Trademark Office this week, first reported by Patently Apple. The patent is about a privacy feature that would display iPhone contents through special glasses, allowing only the device owner to see what's on the phone.
The revolutionary feature is essentially a system of display that provides "vision-corrected graphical outputs" on an electronic device.
There's more in store. Apparently, one of the potential features in store for Apple Glasses is called "Privacy Eyewear," which would block out other people from seeing what's on your screen. No glasses? No access.
It's no surprise that Apple is working on its little Appleverse to get a seat at the metaverse table.?
To make user identification more accurate, Apple is also reportedly working on improving Face ID. The patent refers to a series of individual characteristics like hairstyles, beard, mustache, glasses (or lack of) and more.?

It's important to note that patents do not always imply the use of such features in actual products.
Currently, Apple is developing an AR/VR headset, which was earlier reported as delayed due to production issues. According to 9to5Mac, the product will come with WiFi 6 to get rid of the wired headset experience.

The device will compete with Facebook Oculus Quest which also supports WiFi 6. Along with Apple, Meta and Sony are working on new AR/VR headset devices with glasses to make contemporary tech more immersive on the user's end. Bloomberg claimed that Apple's premium VR headset will cost as much as $3,000!?
