The battle of tech titans is upon us! Elon Musk recently said that his cage fight with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg would be live-streamed on X, formerly known as Twitter.
It all began in June when Musk proposed a cage fight with Zuckerberg. Since then, both the tech moguls have been engaged in a back-and-forth interaction.
"Zuck v Musk fight will be live-streamed on X. All proceeds will go to charity for veterans," Musk wrote on Sunday. Earlier, Musk said that he had been "lifting weights throughout the day, preparing for the fight," adding that he didn't have time to work out so he brings the weights to work.
When asked by a X user what the point of the fight was, Musk said the following - "It's a civilized form of war. Men love war."
Earlier, Zuckerberg had responded to Musk's call for a fight, asking him to "send location" on his Instagram story. The Meta CEO is trained in jiujitsu and has won numerous matches.?

In a post on Threads, Zuckerberg said, "I'm ready today. I suggested Aug 26 when he first challenged, but he hasn't confirmed. Not holding my breath."

Referring to Musk's post about using the money for charity, Zuckerberg said that they should "use a more reliable platform that can actually raise money for charity."

Currently, X doesn't have an in-built feature to allow fundraising whereas Facebook and Instagram do.?

Earlier, Musk had said that "if the fight is short, I probably win. If long, he may win on endurance. I am much bigger and there is a reason MMA has weight divisions."?Meanwhile, Zuckerberg's new app Threads is built to compete against X.
