If you're an iOS user and wish to integrate ChatGPT into Siri, you can do so now... albeit unofficially. ChatGPT has taken the internet by storm, clocking in 100 million global users in just two months after its public launch.
Following its release, many tech giants including Microsoft, Google, and Meta have been spun into action on the front of artificial intelligence and public delivery of such services that are still far from perfect but worthy of public attention.
Now, a GitHub kit lets users integrate ChatGPT's conversational capabilities into the Siri personal assistant on your iPhone or iPad. Make sure you have created on OpenAI account to move forward with this integration.
After you're logged onto OpenAI on a web browser, go to https://platform.openai.com/ and click on the menu that mentions your name on the top right corner, after which you need to select "View API Keys.?

At this point, you should see a sub-category called "Create New Secret Key"; click on it and copy the secret key into the notes app of your choice.
Now, over to GitHub?where all these instructions are also available in more detail! At this link, you need to scroll and find "Shortcut Download" on your iPhone, iPad, Mac, or HomePod. Make sure you download the "Smart Chat 1.2" version in English and then click on the "Set Up Shortcut" option.

In the menu screen that follows, paste the secret code that we earlier generated on OpenAI. Almost there! On the shortcuts app on your iPhone or iPad, you should now be able to view a shortcut called "ChatGPT 1.2." Query away, for now ChatGPT may be used on your iPhone via Siri. Just say "Hey Siri" followed by the name of the shortcut you've assigned to ChatGPT on your iOS device and start asking away!
It's important to note that this is an experimental tool that has nothing to do with OpenAI or Apple and this tool isn't completely reliable. Regardless, it's a fun addition to one's phone.
