Updated Bing and Edge
The new Bing search would work in different ways. One demo shows traditional search results alongside annotations by AI. In a different mode, users could directly talk to the Bing chatbot, akin to how ChatGPT works.
In the demo, Microsoft showed what Bing would be able to do - finding recipes, travel tips, and even planning an itinerary for each day of a 5-day trip to Mexico City.

ChatGPT is unable to accounts for news that happened after 2021, but the new Bing search can do that. These features are powered by an upgraded version of GPT 3.5, the language model that powers ChatGPT. Microsoft has dubbed this the "Prometheus Model" and claims that it's more powerful than GPT 3.5.
The new Bing experience is available for some desktop users. Even then, users are only able to ask a series of preset queries that deliver the same results each time. To sign up for full access in the future, there's a waitlist.
