The upcoming iPhone 15 series could go on sale in India on the same day or within a few days days after global launch, a report claims. Apple will launch its iPhone 15 series on September 12 on the event called "Wonderlust."
The lineup will consist of four models, iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. A recent report claims that the devices could go on sale in India on the same day or just a few days after the global availability of the devices.
An Economic Times report claims that the iPhone 15 models would be manufactured in India, owing to which they may be available around the same time as the global launch. The manufacturing is said to have taken place in Apple assembler Foxconn's Chennai factory.
Last year, after the iPhone 14 launch, the India-made units went on sale within 10 days of the global launch. This year, Apple hopes to lessen the gap and the devices made in the Chennai factory would be first delivered to Indians and then considered for export.
