Carl Pei, the renowned co-founder of OnePlus who recently left the company, has now displayed first signs of his new venture to be.?
Pei has managed to raise $7 million from several high-profile investors for his new hardware based business.
The Swedish tech entrepreneur, on Wednesday, said that he had secured $7 million in a seed financing round from friends and private investors. The move comes almost two months after?Pei left his position at OnePlus?in October this year.
The list of?investors?in his new venture includes names like Tony Fadell - American inventor known for inventing the iPod, YouTuber Casey Neistat,? Kevin Lin - co-founder of Twitch, Steve Huffman CEO - Reddit, and several other high-profile investors.

Pei has not yet announced as to what his new venture is about. He is expected to reveal more information on it early next year but a report by TechCrunch indicates that the young tech entrepreneur might be working towards audio-related hardware.
For now, Pei has confirmed that he first plans to set up an office in London using the new capital. He would further hire talent and fund product research and development through the money.
The development of the new work comes after a vacation period that Pei enjoyed after his role at OnePlus. Confirming the same to Wired in an interaction, Pei said that he ¡°was actually on vacation¡± after his OnePlus stint.
