The hauntingly wonderful green code from The Matrix
And no, it wasn't a blueprint of some grand experiment. Oh no, sir! The truth, as is always the case, is a lot more uninteresting than fiction.
The man behind the tumbling green code in The Matrix has finally revealed that the source of that mystifying code was nothing but a collection of his Japanese wife's cookbooks, and the sushi recipes he found within them.

Yes, that green code which sent many an enthusiastic programmers on a wild goose chase for close to two decades?is nothing but a bunch of different sushi recipes. What a gobsmackingly brutal revelation this is turning out to be!
Cool as a cucumber, Simon Whiteley, who worked as a production designer on The Matrix, made the gutsy revelation about the green code, in a CNET interview recently.
"I like to tell everybody that The Matrix's code is made out of Japanese sushi recipes," Whiteley said, before adding. "Without that code, there is no Matrix."
Well played sir, well played indeed!
