This is according to research by Lori Lewis from All Access (via Statista) that shed light on what is happening every minute on the internet based on usage in the year 2021.?
Over 500 hours of content is uploaded every minute on the video streaming platform, YouTube. To put that into perspective, you¡¯ll consume 20 days to consume all of that content.?

Other streaming platforms weren¡¯t behind either, with over two million views every minute on game streaming platform Twitch as well as 28,000 consecutive subscribers watching Netflix every minute.
Coming to everyone¡¯s favourite image sharing platform, Instagram, every minute, Instagram sees over 695,000 stories shared on its platform. Snapchat on the other hand sees 3.4 million Snaps created every minute. Even TikTok sees over 5,000 video downloads every minute.
Social media platform Facebook sees around 1.4 million scrolling every sixty seconds!?
Twitter in that same time frame sees tweets by 200,000 individuals.?
Coming to messaging, over 69 million messages are sent on WhatsApp and Facebook messenger combined. Emails weren¡¯t behind either, with 197.6 million emails sent in just one minute.

Tinder too saw two million swipes on its dating platform in a minute, that¡¯s 120 million swipes in an hour! Moreover, 1.6 million dollars (USD) is spent online in a minute on the popular e-commerce platform Amazon.?
