Spotted by trusty WhatsApp features tipster WABetaInfo, on WhatsApp beta version 2.22.6.5. The feature allows users to create links for making phone calls from one¡¯s contacts. The links can be shared with individuals who aren¡¯t even part of the contact list to join conversations.
The feature seems to be an extension of the joinable-calls feature that has become active in the past few months. The feature seems to be actually inspired by the old Messenger Rooms shortcut where anyone could join a Messenger Room, even without a Facebook account.?
It¡¯s not exactly similar to Messenger Rooms as it is secured by end-to-end encryption and it needs the user to have their own WhatsApp account to be able to use this feature.?

The feature, even though in beta, is still under development and isn¡¯t available for all, so users can¡¯t really go ahead and try sharing their call links just yet. Moreover, there isn¡¯t a tentative timeline for the feature¡¯s rollout yet.?
