According to an X post by Jukanlosreve (@Jukanlosreve), which quotes a video from The Elec (in Korean), Samsung is scheduled to start producing components for its triple folding smartphone in the second quarter (Q2) of 2025 between April and June. Before September, the company will likely release the rumored handset in Q3 2025. Samsung expects to create 200,000 triple-folding cellphones this year. The smartphone is projected to have a prominent display of 9.9 to 10 inches when unfolded. According to the Elec video report, the tri-fold model will most likely measure 15mm thick when folded.?
As a result, Samsung's tri-fold may be released in July alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 6. This time, Samsung may remove the digitizer from the Galaxy Z Fold7, making it slimmer to compete with rivals such as Honor, whose Magic V3 is a tiny phone. In addition to the tri-fold, the Galaxy Z Flip FE, a low-cost foldable powered by the Exynos 2400e processor, is expected to join the fold lineup. In total, Samsung is slated to release four foldables this year. It'll be interesting to see how things play out.?
