Vaibhav Suryavanshi, the 14-year-old, put up a historic show during the Indian Premier League (IPL) clash between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Gujarat Titans (GT) on Monday at Sawai Mansingh Stadium. Suryavanshi scripts history by becoming the youngest player in the history of the IPL to score 100 off 38 balls.
Amid the celebrations going on, a video of the teen has gone viral on social media, where the player is seen practising on his terrace.
The video is believed to be from the COVID-19 lockdown days, which is now doing the rounds on the internet. In the video, Vaibhav is seen carrying out batting practice on his terrace from the lockdown days.
The caption on the video reads, "A 10-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi practising on his terrace during the lockdown in 2021. 4 years later, he becomes the second fastest IPL centurion."
As soon as the video surfaced on social media, his practice video from lockdown days has garnered massive attention on Instagram, amassing over three million views and 100K likes.
