BigHit protect Beomgyu! MOAs demand action over bomb threats on Weverse

The world of K-pop has both fans and haters, however, it crosses the line when one tries to harm the artist they seem to not like. On February 3, 2025, the hashtag #BighitProtectBeomgyu (BigHit, protect Beomgyu) surged on X (formerly known as Twitter) as fans voiced concerns over threats directed at TXT's Beomgyu.

?The alarming messages, discovered on the fan platform Weverse - the artist-fan app - has sparked widespread calls for enhanced security measures from BigHit Music, TXT's management company. Fans reported encountering graphic and disturbing threats, with users allegedly detailing violent intentions against Beomgyu.

Fans mobilized on social media, demanding that BigHit Music take immediate action to investigate the threats and strengthen security protocols to ensure Beomgyu's safety.?

This is not the first time something so dangerous has taken place. In July 2022, both Beomgyu and fellow TXT member Hueningkai received death threats on Weverse ahead of the group's 2022 "TOMORROW X TOGETHER WORLD TOUR " in the U.S. The recurrence of such incidents has intensified concerns about monitoring and regulating user-generated content on platforms like Weverse.

So far, BigHit Music has not spoken about the the threats against Beomgyu. Fans continue to urge the company to address the issue urgently, emphasizing the importance of protecting their artists.

TXT announces 2025 World Tour ACT: PROMISE - EP. 2

?The boy group has officially announced their 2025 world tour, titled "ACT: PROMISE - EP. 2" which will kick off in March 2025. This tour will mark the group's first extensive European leg, along with additional performances across Asia. It will begin with a three-night residency at Incheon's INSPIRE Arena in South Korea from March 7–9, 2025, with live streaming available for global fans.
