Former actor and ex-Bigg Boss contestant, Sana Khan, has been receiving online backlash over a recent comment she made on postpartum depression in her daily YouTube vlog.
While sharing her personal experiences with pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum depression in the vlog, she mentioned that new mothers should not constantly remind themselves about postpartum depression. This led to an outrage among the social media fam.?
Sana Khan also runs her daily YouTube vlog channel to share her life experience. Sana recently announced her second pregnancy on her Instagram with a video that showed the silhouettes of an older and younger child.?
In her latest vlog, she spoke about her own experience with postpartum depression and said if someone is battling postpartum depression, they should not think about it much, and they should let it as it affects their mental health.
The experience is difficult, she continued. According to Sana, the lifestyle changes after childbirth, as suddenly there is a new person next to you who wakes up crying, and your sleep cycle is disturbed.
The former actor went on to suggest new mothers look for peace in spirituality. "I remember feeling fatigued and dozing off while feeding the baby. This is very normal; a person could also feel lonely even if there are 100 people at home. I have also gone through that," she added.?
Constantly reminding yourself that you are depressed may make you start feeling that way, as per Sana.?

According to the Mayo Clinic, postpartum depression is a serious mental health condition that affects women after giving birth. The condition can happen any time after childbirth but mostly starts within 1 to 3 weeks of delivery.?
