Just when you thought things couldn't get any worse (that's maybe not entirely true since it's 2020 and we are no longer surprised by bad news), there was a major landslide in Norway.
On June 3, the Scandinavian country experienced dealt with nature's fury in the form of a landslide which dragged several houses into the sea. The horrifying and devastating moment was caught on camera.
One by one, you can see each and every home leaving its foundation and moving into the water till they are totally underground.?
The video was reportedly shot by Jan Egil Bakkeby who is a resident of Alta. Posted on Twitter, the little more than two-minute-long video has gone viral with over two million views, and people are of course freaking out.
The video was shared on Twitter user Jan Fredrik Drablos with the caption: 'Just now in Alta, Norway: Huge mudslide dragging several houses into the sea.'
The frightening sight of the houses just being dragged away to sea and then completely being submerged in the water is heartbreaking. Our hearts go out to people who lost their homes due to the landslide. 2020 is officially the worst thing to ever happen to mankind.
A Forbes report suggested that a rescue operation was immediately executed after the landslide ran its course of destruction and each and everyone affected was safe and sound, and no one suffered any injuries.
People were left terrified after watching the clip and the post had many concerned people commenting on it.
