Each month, the Korean Business Research Institute releases its brand reputation rankings, covering K-drama actors, actresses, K-pop male and female artists, as well as groups. In addition to these, the Institute also shares a list of stars from various fields who have topped the rankings in South Korea.

These rankings are based on media coverage, consumer participation, interaction, and community awareness. The research utilized big data collected from December 29, 2024, to January 29, 2025, to assess the attention and influence each star commanded. Here are the Top 5 artists who topped the list in January and the others that follow.?

The four women—Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa—from BLACKPINK have been releasing solo music frequently and have dominated the rankings this month, with a remarkable brand reputation index of 10,535,122.

Lim Young Woong

The South Korean ballad, pop, and trot singer, entertainer, and YouTuber has climbed to second place this month, achieving a brand reputation index of 8,213,721.?

BTS

The 7-member boy group, consisting of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, secured third place on the list with an impressive brand reputation index of 7,058,326.?

Son Heung Min?

The football sensation, who captains both Tottenham Hotspur and the South Korea national team, secured fourth place with a brand reputation index of 6,658,047.?

SEVENTEEN?
