In preparation for the Pran Pratishtha event on January 22, the Ayodhya Ram Temple has recently added its initial golden door.
This door spans eight feet in width and stands twelve feet tall. Over the next three days, a total of thirteen golden doors, including the expansive gate of the sanctum sanctorum, will be installed in the Ram Temple.
These doors will adorn the upper floor of the sanctum sanctorum, enhancing the sacred ambiance of the temple.
As per official statements, the Ram Temple is set to feature a total of 46 doors, with an impressive 42 doors adorned with a 100 kg coating of gold.
In a leaked photo of the golden entrance, the central panel captures the presence of two welcoming elephants, while two attendants stand with folded hands in a posture reminiscent of a palace in the upper section of the image.
Meanwhile, the bottom of the door showcases four squares intricately engraved with exquisite works of art.
On Tuesday, the initial Swarn Dwar (Golden Gate) was installed at the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya.
The Ram Mandir stands as a three-story shrine, measuring 380 feet in length (east-west), 250 feet in width, and towering at a height of 161 feet.
Constructed in the classic Nagara style, the temple features a total of 44 doorways and 392 pillars.
Within its architecture, there are five mandapaps (halls): the Rang Mandap, Sabha Mandap, Kirtan Mandap, and Nritya Mandap.
Preparations are in full swing, with the placement of idols featuring elephants, lions, Lord Hanuman, Garuda, and the 'Vahana' of Lord Vishnu at the entrance gate of the Ram Temple.??
