?A UP cop, however, fell asleep during training and had to write an official apology. The apology letter is now going viral on the internet as the cop was super honest about why he fell asleep. The letter even had details about what led him to be so lethargic. And, oh it is funny.
In an unusual incident from?Uttar Pradesh, a head constable was caught sleeping during training classes in Sultanpur. The matter was escalated and he was asked to give a clarification. A photo of the letter has gone?viral because it is honest and hilarious.?
Constable Ram Shareef Yadav was attending training sessions on Monday, but fell asleep mid-class. The commander told him that it was a sign of gross negligence and sought clarification on the matter. Yadav was to submit an official apology, and he did. Some reasons mentioned in the apology are downright hilarious.?
Yadav wrote the letter in Hindi and it closely translated to this:?"I had left for PTC Dadupur for training from Lucknow and had a lot of trouble getting here. Due to not getting proper food, my stomach was not full. Therefore, the next morning, I ate 25 rotis, one plate of rice, two bowls of dal and one bowl of vegetables. This made me lethargic and sleepy."?
Yadav apologised in the signed official letter and assured the senior official that it would not happen again.?
A photo of the letter was shared on Twitter by user @varunmaddy, and it has now gone viral. He wrote, "When clarification was sought from the constable caught sleeping in the training class in SultanpurSo the answer was amazing."?
Reacting to this viral letter many users shared their thoughts. One user wrote, "Honestly he told all the truth. That's why the first mistake should be forgiven him, there will never be such a mistake in the future.High officers are requested to forgive this time."?
Another added, "He is honest, and now he will not even eat so much bread in the future. should be forgiven."
Some people wondered if the question and the answer in the letter are written by the same person. A user wrote, "Sir, the question and answer are written by only one person, writing is 100% similar."?
To which another user clarified, "Govt. Office main reply aise he diya jata hain."?
