A faithful family dog in China went on a tireless journey to trace his way back home to his owners. They had reportedly left their pet at a friend¡¯s house briefly, as they had renovation work going on at home.
The one-year-old golden retriever, named Ping An or 'safe and sound', was markedly thin and injured with bleeding paws after walking over 100 km alone, for 14 days.
After the separation in June, the family was grief-stricken to find out four months later, that Ping An had run away from their friend's house and gone missing, reported Jianghai Evening News.?
What the family didn't know was that their loyal pooch had, in fact, taken on an arduous solo trek to find her way back to them.??
The limping canine was spotted outside an office building by a group of workers who rescued the animal.?
Pictures taken by the employees show the golden retriever lying on the road, looking undernourished and seemingly sad with her head down.?
