Revenge is a dish best served cold and this man truly went out of his way to make sure of that.
Seizing the opportunity, Batchelor really did a number on the owner as he was forcing him out of his home during a time like this. In a video that he posted on Twitter, the actor can be seen 'dissecting' the apartment room-by-room. He shares the seemingly miserable apartment which appears to be damp and broken.?
The caption of the video on the micro-blogging website says, 'Our letting agent asked us to make a video of the flat we are basically being forced out of. I wish them the very best of luck.¡¯?
He starts the video by showing the living room and says, "Right welcome to the virtual viewing of our flat, this is the living room, all this is coming with us because the flat comes unfurnished."
He further goes on, "There¡¯s the bins just outside the living room window, that¡¯s lovely in the summer when it¡¯s hot".
After that, he moves on to different parts of the apartment and says, "Ant bait station, because there¡¯s ants¡ That fire place doesn¡¯t work. ¡®There¡¯s some shelves. The boy who put them in must have been drunk when he did it because there¡¯s about a 30 degree angle on them.¡¯?
He crosses a door which has the sign, 'Don't rent this flat!' and he adds, "Washer/dryer. Although not really a dryer unless you want your clothes still wet and smelling a bit funny."
He then moves on to the garden area and says, "It was an absolute hellhole when we arrived and we¡¯ve completely renovated it. These plants are all ours, we¡¯ll be digging them up before we go ¨C place will end up looking like the Somme."??
Not backing down, he adds, "Extractor fan, when you put it on you can¡¯t hear yourself f****** think. You will hate it here!?When we first moved in, this extractor fan wasn¡¯t working and I had to take a video of it, not working, before the landlady would send somebody round to fix it,"
He then moves on to the garden area and says, "It was an absolute hellhole when we arrived and we¡¯ve completely renovated it. These plants are all ours, we¡¯ll be digging them up before we go ¨C place will end up looking like the Somme."
The video has received over 80K retweets and more than 350K likes. However, that's not the best part. It became such a hit on social media that it has almost 7 million views. Now, if that apartment still gets rented out, it'll be a miracle.?
