A San Diego, California neuroscientist, he is a bisexual and a Sikh by religion. He is ringing in this year¡¯s Pride month with this rainbow turban that has gone viral on social media.
Sharing an image of himself on Twitter, Kohli wrote, ¡®I¡¯m proud to be a bisexual bearded baking brain scientist. I feel fortunate to be able to express all these aspects of my identity, and will continue to work toward ensuring the same freedom for others.¡¯
He actually wore the turban last year for Pride month but reshared the picture on Twitter for this year¡¯s pride month too.?

In 2018, Kohli was a competitor on the fourth season of the ABC baking contest, which was a spinoff on its UK counterpart, ¡®The Great British Baking Show¡¯. Kohli made it to the semifinals but did not win the show.
He also runs a website called ¡®Bearded baker Co.¡¯ where he shows off his culinary skills along with recipes for those who want to try to make the food at home. The site¡¯s logo has an image of Kohli wearing his rainbow turban.
Pride month that kicked off on June 1 honours the LGBTQIA+ community to commemorate the Stonewall riots, which occurred at the end of June 1969. As a result, many pride events are held during this month to recognize the impact LGBT people have had in the world.
