Brittany Hill shared a tribute for her beloved father, writing,
"I have watched school shootings happen over the years and never thought I would lose a loved one over a person trying to solve a temporary problem with a permanent solution. I will not say her name because I will not glorify her actions. I wish the media would neverepeat her namein. I am so sorry for the loss of those children; seeing their names not called out safely was devastating, as the chaplain told me and my siblings and family this god awful news."
According to her LinkedIn profile, Hale went by Audrey and Aiden but identified more strongly with the male pronouns "he" and "he."
Nashville police said Tuesday that the shooter was a former student at the school, but they still didn't know what motivated the shooting.
While Hale has been identified as having "high-functioning" autism, authorities disclosed today that she was also under the guidance of healthcare experts.
