The Railway Protection Force (RPF) has once more demonstrated its dedication to the security and welfare of passengers. RPF policeman K Sumathi's quick thinking saved a man's life in a recent incident at a railway station in West Bengal. Watch the video that is making rounds on the internet here.
The man is seen standing on a platform in the video posted on RPF India's official Twitter page before suddenly falling onto the tracks. Constable K Sumathi noticed the man from the other platform as he made an effort to lie down.?
Just as a fast-moving train was about to pass by the railway station, the official quickly reacted and jumped down into the track to pull the man away. A short while afterwards, two other men were seen assisting the RPF constable during the rescue.
¡°Lady Constable K Sumathi fearlessly pulled a person off the track, moments before a speeding train passes by at Purwa Medinipur railway station. Kudus to her commitment towards passenger safety,¡± RPF India tweeted.

A man noted, "Kudos to that officer for her quick reaction, but I felt very sorry for that poor soul who tried to give up his life. Those who have been there will know how difficult it is to be alone even when you have so many around you. Hope life treats him well."
