On Monday, during Mariani's commencement ceremony at the Prudential Centre, the pooch celebrated alongside his owner as she received a Bachelor of Science in Education degree ¡ª and then was given some paperwork of his own.
In a sweet viral video, Justin, who attended Mariani for her studies during college, was presented with a diploma by Seton Hall President Joseph E. Nyre.In the video, Justin grabs his diploma with his tongue while the audience applauds the dog and Mariani.?

The caption of the video reads, "Seton Hall President Joseph E. Nyre, Ph.D. presents Justin, the service dog for Grace Mariani, of Mahwah, NJ, with a diploma for attending all of Grace¡¯s classes at Seton Hall."
It further informed, in the comment sections, "Justin is a six-year-old Yellow Lab/Golden Retriever Mix that Grace received from @canineorg. She graduated with a B.S. in Education, Magna Cum Laude, and wants to teach elementary education and special education."
According to NJ.com, the service dog is six years old, which is unusual for a college graduation bearer.?Service dogs are highly trained animals that assist individuals with disabilities or specific medical conditions to perform tasks and mitigate the challenges they face in their daily lives.?

Fellow alumni and current Seton Hall students congratulated Justin and Mariani on Twitter, with some saying Justin must've been "so proud" of Mariani and others calling the clip a "wonderful moment."
