A video of a government teacher mercilessly kicking and thrashing a Class 12 student with a stick has gone viral. People however are not taking this lightly.?
The incident happened on October 13 at Government Nandanar Boys Higher Secondary School in Tamil Nadu’s Cuddalore district when a teacher brutally assaulted a boy for skipping the previous class.
In the viral video, the teacher from a higher secondary school in Chidambaram in Cuddalore district of Tamil Nadu named Subramanian allegedly held the student’s hair and beat him badly. He also kicked him continuously.? Despite the student’s pleas that he would not repeat the mistake, the teacher didn't relent.?
Meanwhile, two students recorded the incident on their mobile phones and posted the clip on social media, which has sparked outrage against the said?teacher.
?Twitter was outraged after seeing this distressing video and called out the teacher for it.?

After the video went viral on social media, the Cuddalore collector ordered a probe into the incident.?Following the enquiry, the teacher was booked and arrested under the SC-ST prevention of atrocities Act. Reacting to the incident, the student’s father appealed to all the teachers not to hurt students and avoid such incidents in the future.
