Dogs love playing fetch or that¡¯s the impression they give. But apparently they aren¡¯t the only species apart from humans who love doing so. A heart melting, aww-inspiring, video of a man playing fetch with a beluga whale is going viral.
According to Metro News report the video was filmed somewhere near the Artic Pole where a group of rugby fans recorded video of playing fetch the ball with a very friendly beluga whale. Reportedly an official 2019 Rugby World Cup ball was used for this game.?
The crew members were aboard Gemini Craft.?
?
The video starts with the beluga whale fetching the ball and handing it over to one of the crew members on board. The man throws the ball towards the ocean again and the excited beluga whale takes off to get the ball. After a bit of a struggle the whale manages to hold the ball between its jaws and brings it back to the boat.?
But now, a? new theory suggests that whale named?Hvaldimir?could be the alleged?Russian spy?whale that had previously made news for ¡®defecting¡¯ to Norway.
According to a tweet posted by?Ferris Jabr, the whale named 'Hvaldimir, a once captive whale who may have escaped a Russian military program. Alone, malnourished, and injured, H. roams the seas, seeking food & attention from people.'
?
According to this report,?the Beluga whale?¡®defected¡¯ to Norway and refused to leave its waters and it also wore a harness that read ¡°Equipment St. Petersburg¡±.
But soon after the? video went viral, people simply could not get over how cute the beluga whale is. One user commented, ¡®This will be the coolest thing I see all day. That is so great!¡¯, another one wrote, ¡®Man...this is one of the most beautiful videos I've seen¡¯.

Beluga whales are known to be highly social animals who communicate with the employment of diverse language of clicks, clangs and whistles.?
Talking of cute whales, one must not forget Hvaldimir, a local celebrity in Norway.?Diver Joachim Larssen was kayaking out on Hammerfest Bay in Norway when the beluga whale swam to the diver.?
Keen to get some close up footage of the friendly sea creature, the diver went ahead, inside the water to get some shots.?
Being the friendly whale that he is, Little Hvaldimir went towards the lens, posing, giving the diver some amazing shots. He looked into the camera, turned around, giving all the angles for a perfect photoshoot.
Hvaldimir moved too close to the camera and knocked it off the mount. The camera fell into the water. The GoPro then captured Hvaldimir grabbing it by mouth and bringing it back to the surface. This proves that not only are beluga whales friendly but also intelligent!
