If you ask any '80s and '90s kids about their sweetest childhood memory, it would most definitely be attending your friend's or neighbour's kid's birthday party. From arguing with your parents about what you wanted to wear to failing at all attempts to leave your younger brother behind (so you didn't have to babysit and miss all the fun), these birthday parties from when we were kids, were the sweetest, most purest moments of our lives. A typical birthday plate not only had saccharine sweet cake, gulaab jamun, samosa and namkeen, it even held a piece of our childhoods. It probably still does to this day...
The video opens with the vlogger carefully placing a piece of cake slathered in cream on three plates. The next big entrant is our beloved samosa, followed by biscuits, rasgulla, namkeen and chips. The vlogger also places two toffees on top of the already packed plate, followed by glasses of juice that stand tall in the background.?
The final shot reveals three beautifully dressed plates with food ready to be eaten. If you're drooling, you're not alone.
What isn't there in the video to not make people nostalgic? Samosa, namkeen, chips, rasgulla, biscuits and a typical cake from a bakery replete with white icing and a super red cherry. Every '80s and '90s kid will remember this very important moment from their childhoods when they finally got what they came for - birthday food.
