John Cena, who turned heel for the first time in nearly two decades at Elimination Chamber 2025, beat Randy Orton at Backlash 2025 earlier this month to retain the Undisputed Championship. He is now set to appear at Saturday Night¡¯s Main Event, where he will most probably take on R-Truth.?
The seeds for this match were planted when the Cenation Leader delivered an AA through a table to Truth during the post-event press meet. Cana¡¯s appearance at Saturday Night¡¯s Main Event may see him align with Hulk Hogan to reform an iconic heel stable.?
Hulk Hogan is one of the biggest and celebrated names in professional wrestling. However, he has been mired in controversy over the past few years because of developments in his personal life. In fact, ¡®The Immortal One¡¯ was booed when he appeared on Raw during the Netflix premiere.?
WWE may try to use this heat to further John Cena¡¯s heel run. As such, Hogan may return at Saturday Night¡¯s Main Event to help the former ¡®Doctor of Thuganomics¡¯? take out Truth. He could then serve as the soon-to-retire star¡¯s manager for the remainder of his career.
?The two could even add a few members to their ¡®stable¡¯ and reform the New World Order (NWO), a group that started in WCW and even had a brief run in the WWE. The group originally featured Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, and the late Scott Hall. That said, the above-mentioned angle is purely hypothetical at this point. However, given WWE's habit of dishing out surprises, it can't be ruled out.?
Cena is set to call time on his career later this year with his last match slated to take place in Boston this December. He is expected to lock horns with CM Punk, his old foe, somewhere down the line before retiring. The match, however, will not be taking place at the Money in the Bank event.?
