A senior judge of the Supreme Court, he was recently pictured checking out a Harley Davidson in Nagpur, his native residence. The images of the same are viral on social media.?
His pictures, where he is seen sitting on a limited edition CVO 2020 are garnering attention.?
However, according to India Today report, the bike does not belong to CJI Bobde but to the son of a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader from Nagpur.
The report says that the end bike is registered in the name of Rohit Sonbaji Musale, son of Sonba Musale who is a BJP leader from Nagpur.
The images have received some criticism online with people pointing out that the helmet was missing.
However, journalist Ashok Bagriya tweeted, ¡®This picture of the CJI SA Bobde on a #harleydavidson seems to be a deliberate leak by the motorcycle company.?Sources say, CJI was just checking out the bike & he did not even drive the bike.?Moreover, CJI did not even know who the bike belonged to¡¯.
The CJI does look charismatic on the bike.?
