A man has left social media users outraged after faking an injury and pretending to need a wheelchair in order to skip long airport queues.
Wolf Jenkins, 28, filmed himself jumping queues at Ibiza airport in Spain before a flight home to Bristol, UK. He publicly boasted about his antics in the video.?
In the video, he can be seen limping around without his sock and shoe while airport staff dote on this guy with a supposedly ¡®sprained¡¯ ankle.
"Faked hurting my leg to get through security faster and onto the plane back from Ibiza. Amazing what taking one sock off can achieve," he wrote.?
Wolf can be seen sitting comfortably in the wheelchair as his friend pushes him through check-in, security gates, the connecting tunnel and then onto the plane.??
He said that he came up with the plan when he saw long queues at the airport.
"I¡¯d say around a two hour wait to get through security and check in at least. The queue outside of the airport was insane, I didn¡¯t expect it at all," Wolf was quoted as saying by Deadline News.?
"I saw people in wheelchairs being pushed through so my friend waited in the queue and I went outside and took off my shoe and sock.?I then limped back towards the door and a member of staff asked me if I needed assistance so I said I had twisted my ankle at the hotel just before getting into my taxi," he added.?
When asked if he had a 'fit to fly', he told staff that he had only just injured himself and if need be, he can even walk.?
The video has garnered more than one million views on TikTok and attracted tons of comments.?
Needless to say, people have been left enraged by Wolf's antics.?
¡°It just makes me so angry when I see p***** like him abusing the system. It¡¯s a limited service and takes it from someone genuinely needing help through," one user commented.?
¡°Imagine pretending to need a wheelchair. My son actually needs a wheelchair and it's not something anybody should be pretending about," another user said.?
"It¡¯s a limited service and takes it from someone genuinely needing help through," a third user commented.
"Nah I also don¡¯t agree with this when there are genuine people who need that service," another said.??
