Young people in college do a lot of things that are particularly frowned upon, but this incident takes the cake for its utmost bizarre nature.
A recent tweet has gone viral on social media claiming that a student from Manipal University tried to sneak his girlfriend into his hostel room. According to a report by the?Times of India, the incident?happened at the engineering college hostel in Manipal on Tuesday night.?
A student who watched the lovers¡¯ plan unravel said the boy walked in with the trolley bag and caught the caretaker¡¯s attention.?The man asked why the student was carrying such a huge piece of luggage.
The student claimed that the suitcase was full of things he had ordered online. However, that only increased the caretaker's suspicion who then demanded to see inside the suitcase.?
The boy tried his best to avoid that from happening by saying the items were very delicate, but the caretaker?would have none of it. Finally, the suitcase was unzipped and reportedly out came the girl.
The student who was a witness to the incident added that the girl was curled up in the suitcase; she is also a student of the college. The student also said that she is a dancer which might have helped her fit inside the suitcase with ease. The student clarified that a video of the alleged incident that was trending on social media is from an older unrelated incident.?
Other sources have said that both the girl and boy have been suspended from their respective hostels, and hostel sources have claimed that both of them have returned home.?
Twitter has had a blast ever since this alleged incident went gone viral.?
This is also not the first time such an incident has occurred. I know, shocking, right? If anyone knows jugaad, it's us Indians! People shared another video of an older incident that reportedly took place in 2019 when a boy tried to sneak his girlfriend into his hostel by putting her inside a suitcase. Watch the video here:
However, some users claimed that the video was from the same incident that took place in Manipal recently but were quickly debunked by others who claimed that the video is from an older incident. One user wrote, "Bro this is not manipal.. this is UPES DEHRADUN. You can check the photos on google as well and the video is from 2019. I am passed out of UPES and this happened in front of me."
