As Pran Partishtha Day approaches, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced that 100 chartered planes will land at the newly inaugurated Ayodhya airport on January 22.
"On January 22nd, around 100 chartered planes will land at?Ayodhya Airport?to witness the?Ram Temple's 'pran pratishtha' event. This would also lead us down the path of assessing the potential of the Ayodhya airport," the CM stated.?He went on to say, "I am grateful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for giving Uttar Pradesh its fourth international airport."
The Ayodhya airport was launched on December 30th.
On December 30, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the newly built Ayodhya Airport. Later, at a public occasion, he stated that Maharishi Valmiki's Ramayana is the road of wisdom that leads us to Shri Ram.
The airport would be able to handle 10 lakh passengers per year in the first phase and 60 lakh commuters per year after the second phase. The first phase of the modern airport is estimated to cost about ?1,450 crore.?
Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union Minister VK Singh, and other senior officials virtually launched the first tri-weekly flights between Ahmedabad and Ayodhya today.
The Uttar Pradesh government has created a comprehensive plan that includes improved security and traffic control measures. The Integrated Traffic Management System (ITMS) has been linked with 1500 public CCTV cameras throughout the city to ensure diligent surveillance.?
