In an article published in Natural History magazine, he made an interesting similarity between the "sun's rays striking the centre of the Stonehenge circle on the solstice" and the occurrence in Manhattan.?

Although there is no set date, the unusual phenomenon usually takes place three weeks before and after the solstice. The first event of 2024 occurred on May 29. This year's event will take place on July 12 and 13.
