In his post on X, the 53-year-old Tesla CEO didn't hold back, calling SNL "out of touch with reality" and criticising the show's attempts to support Kamala Harris during the election. He also claimed that their efforts only hurt her campaign.
In response, 36-year-old comedian Chloe Fineman, who was part of the SNL cast during Musk's 2021 hosting gig, posted a now-deleted TikTok video.?
In the video, she recalled an emotional incident where Musk allegedly made her cry while she was working on a sketch.
She shared that after spending all night writing the skit, she was excited to present it to Musk.?
"I was like I'm not gonna say anything, but I'm like, no, if you're gonna go on your platform [X] and be rude, guess what? You made I, Chloe Fineman, burst into tears because I stayed up all night writing this sketch."
However, Fineman claims Musk responded coldly, telling her the sketch wasn't funny, and proceeded to flip through the pages of her script, saying, "I didn't laugh once."
She expressed her frustration, adding, "I actually had a really good time and I thought you were really funny in it, but, you know, have a little manners here, sir."
