A six-year-old boy was electrocuted in Ayyappa Nagar, Vijayawada, but an Andhra doctor acted quickly to save his life. The boy's anxious parents were carrying him down the street when he suffered a cardiac arrest. Dr. Ravalika, who happened to be walking by, saw their anguish and sprung into action.She conducted cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on the boy right on the road.?
A video shows the doctor repeatedly tapping the boy's chest as he lay lifeless, attempting to revive him as pedestrians vacated the road to allow the CPR to continue despite the mob.

After repeated efforts, the doctor was able to revive the six-year-old. After five tense minutes, the boy started breathing again. He was then brought to the hospital for additional treatment and has since fully recovered, as per reports.
